Who Am I?

My name is Jalal Sameja, and you all know me for my Delicious Recipes behind @jalalsamfit
I’ve always grown up with family around me and some of my fondest childhood memories have been at the dinner table with big family gatherings enjoying delicious meals together. This instilled in me a love for food and going through these experiences has shaped me into the man I am today. As a teenager, I struggled with weight and turned to fitness and weightlifting for a healthier lifestyle.


I began to learn about nutrition, macros, calorie deficit - everything to help me lose body fat. This also pushed me to start making meals for myself, but my goal to lose weight also sacrificed my love for delicious tasting meals because I used to believe that good tasting food = unhealthy/bad for you. Before long, I started to realise that I do not enjoy eating such bland meals and I could not sustain this long term. I began to experiment by combining the knowledge I gathered on nutrition with my love for food and cooking. Through lots of trial and error, hours spent in the kitchen - I learnt techniques to merge the best of both worlds. Learning that you do not need to sacrifice taste and flavour to lead a Healthier Lifestyle and with a few simple ingredient swaps it was very possible to make the Most Delicious High Protein Meals that you can have year round! And My Mission is to continue to share all of this knowledge with you through all these Recipes and Much More!
